Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Canaries announce today a new relationship with Property Consulting Group (PCG) to secure a naming rights partner for The Birdcage.

The Manhattan Beach, Calif.-based agency will be responsible for creating a marketing partnership between a company and the team that will include re-naming the facility with a corporate name.

“PCG’s reputation speaks for itself, not only in their ability to attract a great partner but just as important, to create a partnership that will enhance the experience for our fans,” said John Kuhn, President of the Canaries. “This balance is key for us, our fans and the new partner as it will be the foundation of a relevant offering.”

PCG will begin talking immediately with local and national companies about the stadium naming rights opportunity with expectations to have a new stadium name by Opening Day 2009.

“The Canaries essentially sit on the front porch of the Sioux Falls community and this is a great opportunity for a company to take a seat right there with them and give back to the residents of Sioux Falls,” said Josh Kritzler, President of PCG. “Naming rights partners are viewed as being great corporate citizens and we are thrilled with being selected by the Canaries to take this opportunity to the marketplace.”

The Canaries selected PCG after reviewing proposals from other agencies. PCG and their executives have done work in Major League Baseball, National Football League, National Hockey League, professional motorsports and even abroad with Cricket Australia.
